Kia ora Tamanuiterā | Hello Sunshine
Golden Solar BIPV is a Christchurch-based, locally owned solar energy company with a vision to bring solar power into the very fabric of our buildings.
We deliver practical solar solutions for homes and businesses, including rooftop solar, solar carports, and battery storage systems. Beyond conventional solar, we are actively exploring Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) — innovative technologies that transform everyday building materials into clean energy generators.
From solar roof tiles and photovoltaic glass to solar façades and architectural canopies, we believe solar energy should do more than generate electricity. It should become a natural part of how buildings are designed, built, and experienced.
Our vision is simple: to create a future where buildings don't just consume energy — they generate it.
Proudly based in Christchurch, we're working towards smarter, more sustainable buildings across New Zealand and beyond.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make solar energy more practical, accessible, and affordable for homes and businesses across New Zealand.
